Counselling & Psychotherapy Services
Professional counseling and psychotherapy services in Ireland, available both in-person and online.
Individual Counselling & Psychotherapy
I provide individual counselling and psychotherapy in a non-judgemental, empathic and safe space for you to be heard, valued and supported through whatever challenges you are struggling with.
I have experience helping individuals who struggle with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, low self-confidence, low self-worth, stress, burnout, anger, trauma (from emotional, physical, and sexual abuse), loss and bereavement, life-changing diagnosis, carer burden, relationships, negative self-image and gender identity.
From our first session, you will see that I am down to earth, honest and open. As I get to know your unique challenges, environment and experiences, I become better able to support you in three key areas:
I provide coping mechanisms and skills to help relieve the impact of immediate challenges you are facing
I help you to understand and become aware of how your thoughts, feelings and behaviours develop
I help you to develop lasting positive change as you realise your full potential.
I incorporate elements of person-centred, gestalt, holistic, cognitive, behavioural, natural, exposure and psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapeutic approaches, integrating a number of therapeutic theories and interventions to best suit your needs.
Relationship Counselling & Psychotherapy
I offer relationship counselling with a strong focus on two key areas: communication and boundaries. Whether you’re navigating a romantic partnership, a family dynamic, a friendship, or a professional relationship, I provide a supportive space to explore challenges and create meaningful change.
In sessions, I help individuals and couples develop congruent communication—where both people feel heard, understood, and able to express themselves clearly. We work on shifting from reactive patterns to more thoughtful responses by identifying emotional triggers and their roots. This process allows issues to be addressed collaboratively rather than avoided or expressed in unhealthy ways.
I also support clients in recognising and maintaining healthy boundaries. We explore what happens when boundaries are crossed, how to rebuild trust, and how to accept moments when we may have to stretch beyond our comfort zone. This helps strengthen relationships or, when necessary, supports a respectful and compassionate ending where ongoing communication and boundaries remain essential, particularly when co-parenting or maintaining respectful contact is part of the relationship’s next chapter.
I work in a non-judgemental, inclusive way, respecting all identities and relationship dynamics—including those involving infidelity, sexual issues, loss of connection, gender transition, same-sex partnerships, and complex family systems. While I do not work with under-18s, I do support adult clients navigating parent-child or sibling issues.
Let’s work together to find what works for you.
Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
As part of my Master’s program in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, I am currently offering a limited number of voluntary sessions for young people as part of my clinical placement. These sessions are conducted under strict professional supervision and adhere to ethical guidelines and codes of practice established by my training institution and accrediting bodies.
Working with children and adolescents requires a sensitive, developmentally appropriate approach. My work focuses on creating a safe, trusting therapeutic space where a young person can express themselves freely—whether through talking, creative expression, or play, depending on their age and needs. I support young clients in exploring emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, behavioural concerns, anxiety, loss, identity, or changes in their environment.
The therapeutic relationship develops gradually, and I work collaboratively with the young person, their primary caregivers, and, when appropriate, other key individuals in their environment to promote growth, understanding, and emotional wellbeing.
Please note: spaces are limited and prioritised based on clinical suitability within the scope of my current training. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll always do my best to guide you toward a more suitable support.
